Highlights: Lonnie Walker IV scored a game-high 18 points and Isiah Cook had 13 as Reading High rolled past Pottstown 88-51 in the opening round of the Reading Holiday Tournament tonight at Geigle Complex.

The Red Knights (6-3) advance to meet Mount Vernon (2-1), a 77-44 winner over Steel-High, in the championship game Tuesday.

Walker sat eight minutes of the first half after drawing two personal fouls but came out strong in the third quarter, scoring 11 points.

The Reading starters didn't play in the fourth quarter after building a 65-37 lead.

With Walker on the bench, the Knights got a boost from sophomore Xavier Sparks, who hit a pair of 3-pointers and scored eight points in the second period.

Larry Wingo had 14 points and Malik Brown 11 for the Trojans (3-7).
